Russian Drama Theatre

One of the best and the oldest theaters in the south of Ukraine by right is Odessa Russian Drama Theatre. The Russian Theatre has been a scene for the greatest theatric events of the city for a long time. Before the revolution many Russian, Ukrainian, German, French, Italian drama companies performed here. Here the stars of the world stage played, such as Sarah Bernardt, Eleonora Duse and many others. Some years ago the theatre experienced a complete restoration which inspired a new life to it. The repertoire of the theatre is renewing all the time and its doors are always open for devoted audience.
