Fine art lovers will be attracted by the Odessa Art Gallery located at 5a, Sofievskaya Street. Its collections is one of the most significant and multiplanned ones in Ukraine. And the Gallery itself is worth paying attention to. It is in an ancient palace with an underground grotto beneath which is open for visitors. There are a lot of mysterious legends related to this museum.

There is a wonderful collection of all genres of art in the museum: painting, graphic arts, sculptures, decorative and applied arts and icon paintings. The exhibition counts more than 10 thousand of works. It is arranged in historically-chronographic sequence.

One of the pearls of the exhibition are paintings by famous seascape painter Aivazovsky and section of art at the turn of XІХ-XX centuries. Here you can see paintings by V. Serov, M. Vrubel, N.Rerikh, V.Kandinsky and others.

Odessa is famous for its own artists. The works by K. Kostandi, G. Ladyzhensky, G. Golovkov, P.Nilus and others. They formed unique Odessa school of art. We advise you to see the Art Gallery and touch to the legend!
