Opera and Ballet Theatre

Odessa is the cultural capital of the South of Ukraine, the theatrical life in it has been writing its history from the first days of the city existence.

A visiting card of Odessa is the Opera and Ballet Theatre. You will keep it in your mind for ever owing to its architecture and wonderful performances. The unsurpassed appearance of the theatre was made by Viennese architects, and its repertoire – by Tchaikovsky, Rimskiy-Korsakov, Rakhmaninov and others. On its stage were singers and ballet dancers, whose names glorified the theatrical art. Feodor Shalyapin, Dmitry Khvorostovskiy, Tito gave concerts on the stage of the famous Odessa Opera House.
